BACKGROUND
After graduating college with my BA in Digital Arts & Sciences in 2017, I became a Support Lead in the Training & Development department for Operations at Legoland Florida Resort. I designed and launched a Learning Management System (LMS) to streamline training for new hires. This system significantly improved onboarding efficiency, improved tracking of employee certifications, and ensured timely SOP reviews, contributing to a safer and smoother experience for both employees and guests.

In addition to launching the LMS program, I developed interactive educational training games on iPads for trainers to use with their trainees. I also redesigned outdated ride blueprints to be more user-friendly and easier to understand, and updated the code for Legoland Attractions' main database, Nucleus, using FileMaker Pro. This optimized and enabled data import/export from a previously incompatible platform, reducing manual data entry from three hours daily to less than three hours biweekly- a major efficiency boost.

After a successful and productive 2 years at Legoland, I was fortunate to take a year off from work to travel abroad and gain invaluable life experiences. I immersed myself in diverse cultures, art, and ideas-an experience that greatly broadened my perspective. Unfortunately, my travels were cut short due to the global pandemic.

Returning home and looking for new opportunities, I discovered a Graphic Assistant position at Florida's Natural Growers print shop. There, I was able to deepen my knowledge about printing and assembling, while expanding my expertise in design and how it is applied in a different field.
